BP Logix has released Workflow Director, which consists of workflow and business rules engines, as well as project management capabilities, electronic forms processing, reporting/activity monitoring and the ability to integrate into most third-party and in-house applications and databases.

The company reports Workflow Director's modular design facilitates easy deployment and scalability for enterprisewide deployment, as well as installation at departmental levels and within medium-sized organizations. BP Logix Workflow Director is built on an integrated document management and workflow automation platform that enables business users to manage, automate and report on their automation platform without requiring more than cursory support of either IT or development resources.

BP Logix describes the various capabilities and features:

  • BPM/workflow automation—a workflow engine that models review/approval procedures, automates routing, monitors results and enables content management;
  • project management/business rules engine—speeds the implementation of "activity-oriented" processes;
  • e-forms processing—enables organizations to route electronic forms in accordance with defined business rules and processes; and
  • reporting/activity monitoring—allows tracking, auditing and reporting on workflow processes.
