Yasmin Khan is the Head Librarian of the Legal Services Library at the City of Toronto's Legal Division. Yasmin has worked with the City of Toronto since 2008. Previous to joining the Legal Division, she worked for approximately seven years for the Department of Justice, Ontario Regional Office. Yasmin received her B.A. Hons. and Master’s of Information Studies from the University of Toronto. Her responsibilities include managing knowledge management and legal research services for over 120 lawyers and 60 prosecutors. She is overseeing the development an internal Legal Portal which includes the practice specific web sites and precedent databases. Yasmin and her team are also involved in re-developing Legal's public website and corporate Intranet site. Her main goal is transforming the Legal Library from a traditional library service to transition to a knowledge and learning service.
