Cristiano Rocha has a Computer Science and Engineering degree from PUC-Rio (Pontific University of Rio de Janeiro) and UCSD (University of California San Diego) and a Master Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management from PUC-Rio. His master´s dissertation in 2003, presented an innovative semantic search algorithm and was published in the main academic congresses around the world. Cristiano is also post graduated through Harvard Business School (Building Ventures in Latin America course). Cristiano is the founder and a partner at Affero, the biggest Corporate Education and Knowledge Management Company in Brazil. At Affero, Cristiano is responsible for all the Consulting engagements of the company and has been working for the last 15 years as a consultant in Knowledge Management, Informal Learning, Communities of Practice, Innovation, Talent Management and Corporate Education. In particular, Cristiano has been a key consultant in Knowledge Management for the two biggest Brazilian companies, Petrobras and Vale. He has also consulted for other big Brazilian companies such as Natura, Furnas, Vivo, SEBRAE, among others. Cristiano is also a very known speaker in Knowledge Management events in Brazil specially KMBrasil and GMC (MAKE event), the two biggest KM events in Brazil. Cristiano is also a regular attendant in KM and Learning events such as APQC´s Knowledge Conference, KM World and ASTD.
