David Gilmour, Senior Vice President, Collaboration Technologies at Oracle, is responsible for Oracle Beehive's Overall Strategy and Business Operations. Previously to Oracle, Mr. Gilmour founded and served as the President and CEO of Tacit Software, a pioneer and leader in automated expertise software for enterprises and consumers. Prior to founding Tacit in 1997, David Gilmour served as co-founder and senior vice president and chief research officer, and director for Giga Information Group. Prior to Giga, Gilmour served as acting president and CEO of Versant Object Technology. From 1984 to 1991, Gilmour held a series of executive positions at Lotus Development Corporation, including vice president of the Database Systems Division and general manager of the Advanced Products Division. Gilmour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and applied physics, a Master of Science degree in engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration, all from Harvard University.
