Ernst has been working as Communication Specialist (Digital Workplace) for the UNICEF Private Fundraising & Partnerships (PFP) Division in Geneva Switzerland for the past 3 years. Prior to that, he worked for the UNHCR and as a freelance consultant in the web industry. Recent activities include the definition of a vision for the PFP Digital Workplace through the creation of concrete use cases, the coordination of an Information Architecture project that will serve as the basis for the restructuration and redesign of the Intranet and the endless promotion of new ways of working. With a background in international relations, Ernst’s focus is primarily on the strategic and functional side of systems, with a strong emphasis on user experience and adoption. Ernst runs a blog on thoughts about the Digital Workplace, loves to cycle to work in the morning, along Geneva lake side and go ski to surrounding mountains in the winter.
