Dr. Francisco Eduardo Rivera is a Computer Scientist with the FAA (email: francisco.rivera@faa.gov ). He is the En Route and Oceanic Services (AJE) project lead for the Chief System Engineering group’s Knowledge Management, Lessons Learned, and Process Improvement. He previously worked for the FAA as a System Engineer. Dr. Rivera was a professor of Information Technology (IT) at St. Edward’s University, Texas A & M International, Penn State University, Inter American University of Puerto Rico, and National University of Mexico. He graduated from the National Polytechnics Institute at Grenoble France with a Ph. D. in Computer Engineering. His Master Degree is in Computer Science and Long-range Planning. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Computer Science and Physics.
