Heather M Brammer has worked in Knowledge Management for The Boeing Company for over 12 years. She has worked as a technical writer, knowledge project manager and site manager, before becoming one of two overall IT Knowledge Managers. Her main functions as a Knowledge Manager include chairing the Boeing IT Knowledge Standards Board, the evolution of a Knowledge Management Governance Model and the complete administration of Boeing's end-user self-service model. She currently manages the largest collection in the Boeing IT Knowledge Base and oversees all other IT collections, as well as acting as a mentor to other collection owners. Heather is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Information Management from the University of Washington.
