As manager of global accounts for APQC, Kelly's primary focus is to assist organizations in building capabilities for process improvement that support organizational objectives, including the integration of knowledge management, benchmarking, performance measurement, and other continuous improvement tools.
During her 13-year tenure with APQC, she has held positions in advisory services, membership, business development, and marketing. She specializes in assisting organizations in the following industries:
- Government
- Aerospace and Defense
- Petrochemical
- Metals/Mining
- Manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical and Healthcare
Kelly has supported hundreds of organizations in their efforts to improve by designing solutions that appropriately leverage APQC content and expertise. Recent projects designed include knowledge management strategy development and program implementation support for two U.S. military organizations, corporate quality measurement benchmarking for a large aerospace and defense organization, and designed and launched initial networks of excellence for a global oil and gas company.
A native Houstonian, Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on journalism and public relations from the University of Houston. She is active in the Houston community - volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association and participating in various fundraising events supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation, United Way, and National MS Society.
