As APQC's research program manager for knowledge management, Lauren Trees identifies trends in enterprise knowledge sharing and collaboration, researches ways to improve knowledge flow, and shares her findings with APQC members and the broader business community. She has served as project manager for two large-scale research studies-Transferring and Applying Critical Knowledge and Connecting People to Content-and has led additional research on expertise location, competency development, content management, social media, gamification, and the future of KM. Her current research focuses on technical mentoring and the path to KM maturity.
Lauren has written about KM for media outlets including KMWorld, Industry Week, Strategic HR Review, and Pharmaceutical Engineering, and her research has been cited by Inc. and TIME. She is an experienced speaker, having presented at the Petroleum Abstracts and KMWorld conferences as well as numerous corporate meetings and webinars. She is a regular contributor to APQC's KM blog and tweets @ltrees_km.
