Luisita Guanlao, joined the World Bank in 1989. As Lead Information Officer at the World Bank’s central IT Department, she currently heads Business and Information Architecture practice in the Enterprise Architecture group. She has over twenty years of experience in the IT sector supporting all phases of software architecture and development, project planning and management, IT management, and business development and solution support. Ms. Guanlao’s areas of focus include information management, data management and business intelligence. She has worked with various technologies including those that support enterprise content management, master data management, information integration, and data warehousing/data marts. She provides technical assistance to government institutions in ensuring the alignment of their IT investments with the government strategic priorities. Ms. Guanlao holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with focus on Management Science from University of San Francisco, California, Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and an Executive Development Program Certificate from Harvard Business School.
