Neesham works in operational knowledge sharing within the international development domain. She has 20 years experience in the design and implementation of systemic knowledge flow. Currently she works in knowledge & learning within the International Finance Corporation, the private sector sister institution to the World Bank. Her current position focus on the theme of financial risk & corporate initiatives.
She is experienced in the design and delivery of multi-stakeholder engagements (with a focus on South to South knowledge sharing) between governments, NGO, private sector, and international organizations.
Neesham works extensively with colleagues across the international development and IFI community and is active in the KM4Impact CoP. She co-founded the World Bank Group Knowledge Management & Learning Community of Practice and in 2015 partnered with global colleagues to esetablish the bi-annual Knowledge on a Mission.
Her operational & technical development policy experience includes access to finance, banking regulation, commercial bank downscaling, and natural disaster risk mitigation. She holds an MSc in Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics and a BA in International Studies and Economics from The Ohio State University. When working from home, she is managed by a foxhound and rescue mutt.
