Sara Teitelman, MPH serves as Director of Knowledge Management (KM) for Pact, where she has led the organization's global KM initiative since 2013. Her role is focused on implementing systematic approaches to KM and organizational learning across Pact’s headquarters and 25 country offices in addition to providing thought leadership in external KM-focused initiatives with like-minded organizations. Prior to joining Pact, Sara served for seven years as Senior KM Officer for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), where she launched and led an innovative KM initiative supporting learning, knowledge sharing and virtual collaboration both internally across EGPAF’s 12 country programs and headquarters as well as externally through consortium work with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, UNAIDS, and others. A proponent of people-centered KM driven by innovative uses of technology (including cloud-based applications and mobile technology), Sara holds a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Washington, a BA in Comparative Literature from Colorado College , as well as a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) designation from the Knowledge Management Institute.
