Billy Cook (MSLS ‘12) was a successful sales manager in the aerospace industry before fate (aka economic recession) brought him to the School of Information and Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. Since graduating, he has delivered a Knowledge Management (KM) solution for Al Akhawayn University in Morocco, kick-started KM for a division of Corning Inc., and helped implement and govern enterprise-wide KM initiatives at Cigna. Billy is currently a Manager of Knowledge Management at ADP, where he provides strategic direction and governance for the Added Value Services division. In his spare hours, Billy volunteers for the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the Association of Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). In 2017, Billy will be serving as Chair-Elect for the SLA KM Division, and as the Secretary of the ASIS&T KM Special Interest Group.
