Yunnie Jenkins has worked in Information Technology (IT) at Merck for 14 years. After receiving a BS in Business Information System Management from College of New Jersey and a MS in computer science from Villanova University, she joined the Merck Research & Development IT supporting Regulatory process. She had eight years of experience in Regulatory IT and Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities related to Clinical Trials, Regulatory Tracking, Regulatory Submissions and Collaborative Authoring/Labeling. In 2009, she moved to Merck Manufacturing Division (MMD) IT supporting Global Science Technology & Commercialization (GSTC) organization focusing on implementation of KM pilot programs and capabilities. She received her Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt through implementation of Virtual Technical Network (VTN) KM solution for enterprise social networking for problem solving and connectivity. She has held various leadership roles as a Business Analyst, Program Manager, and Business Architect driving MMD KM multi-year solutions. In her role, she has lead and driven strategy development, capability and road-map definition, business cases development and implementation activities from concept through production deployment and value realization.
