Kirsten Sydendal holds an MA in Computational Linguistics from the University of Copenhagen. She works as a Knowledge Management Specialist at Nordic Sugar in Nakskov, Denmark. She has won several awards for her voluntary work in her rural home region by creating local networks and communicating the strengths and potentials of the area, especially by using the internet and social media platforms.
