Hasan Syed is the Vice President of Knowledge Management for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBC), one of 11 U.S. government-sponsored banks that provide reliable liquidity to member financial institutions, such as banks, thrifts, credit unions, insurers, and community development financial institutions throughout their district, to support housing finance and community investment. Hasan is responsible for leading knowledge management initiatives across the FHLBC. He has led several bank-wide initiatives in areas ranging from IT Operations, Software Development, and Business Intelligence. He is a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) and is also certified in ITIL (Foundation). He has a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy and Master of Science Degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Karachi. He is a proponent of knowledge sharing and believes in having a systematic approach to problem-solving.
