Dr. Laurence Lock Lee is the Co-founder and Chief Scientist at SWOOP Analytics. He is an experienced professional, with over 40 years' experience as a researcher, technology leader, educator and management consultant. In the 1980s, at BHP Research, he led the largest private sector Artificial Intelligence laboratory in Australia. In 1991 BHP was credited with 55% of all fielded Expert Systems in Australia. He also previously led the national Knowledge Management consulting practices at BHP Information Technology (BHPIT) and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). He is a leading practitioner in Social Network Analysis (SNA) for organizational change, having conducted more than 100 consulting assignments for clients around the world. SWOOP Analytics is a software startup providing real-time SNA insights from collaboration patterns identified in enterprise social platforms like Yammer and Workplace by Facebook as well as MS Teams. He holds a PhD on corporate social capital, from the University of Sydney.
