Andreas Blumauer is CEO and co-founder of Semantic Web Company (SWC), the provider and developer of the PoolParty Semantic Platform. With headquarters in Vienna, Austria, but operating globally, SWC has worked with over 200 commercial, government, and non-profit organizations to deliver AI and semantic search solutions, knowledge platforms, content hubs, and related data modeling and integration services.

Andreas is a world renowned thought leader in the field of semantic AI and graph technologies. Working with more than 200 organizations, he has helped define knowledge and AI strategies, implement and evolve knowledge hubs, search solutions, intelligent content management, taxonomy and ontology management, and advanced knowledge graph management systems. 

Andreas is the author of 'The Knowledge Graph Cookbook: Recipes that Work'. The book bridges the gap between graph technologies and the practical knowledge of how to widely implement them in organizations. It covers the entire knowledge graph lifecycle and explains step-by-step how to transform data into knowledge as part of any digital transformation and AI initiative.

Andreas Blumauer holds a Master's degree in business studies and information technologies from University of Vienna. Andreas started his career in 1996 as a software engineer for financial services organisations. In 2001 he co-founded punkt. netServices, a specialised provider of knowledge management solutions.

He is a regular speaker at international conferences (TEDx, SEMANTiCS, KMWorld, Tridion Expert Summit, Taxonomy Boot Camp, ...) with topics ranging from artificial intelligence and semantic web to content, data and knowledge management.
