Evaluation Officer
the World Bank
Stuti is an Evaluation Officer at the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group (IEG). She works across human capital, country programs, and corporate evaluations. Recently, she contributed to IEG’s evaluation on learning in lending and a thematic evaluation on adaptive social protection.
Before joining the World Bank, Stuti worked in academia. She collaborated with Professor Jonathan Gruber, a key architect of the Affordable Care Act, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to establish an agency similar to the Congressional Budget Office in India. This initiative aimed to significantly enhance the health sector's capacity for evidence-based policymaking. Additionally, she was part of a policy consortium led by Professor Anup Malani from the University of Chicago Law School, which supported several Asian governments in developing data-driven responses to COVID-19 and promoting an adaptive control approach to inform lockdown exit strategies.
Stuti holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University in New York and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University. She has also worked at Global Health Strategies and Ernst & Young.
