Ellie is a research consultant at the Cynefin Company, currently leading the health and care programme of work.  Her role is focused on supporting organisations and healthcare professionals to work with story at the intersections of human sense-making and technology, with the objective of prioritising lived experience in informing policy and culture change.

Holding an MA in the anthropology of social development and transformation, with a specialism in medical anthropology, Ellie is curious about how individuals navigate knowledge networks in their quests to understand health and healing and the power of bringing new perspectives to challenge our taken for granted assumptions in the workplace and beyond.  Her research  brings multi-perspective narrative and anthropological insight to issues such as workforce retention, safety reporting and cultures of blame, patient journeys and leadership.
