Philip is a member of the Board of Bloomfire and is a technologist, product innovator, and business leader. Over his career, he founded and ran 4 enterprise software startups, managed a team of 6000 as CTO/head of product development at Thomson Reuters, built the fastest growing business at Bloomberg as GM of Foreign Exchange & Economics, and has worked at Google twice, most recently as VP of Engineering and Product for Google Workspace. Philip is the Founder and Managing Partner of enterprise software incubator The Innovation Ranch, additionally serves on the Board of Epistemix and on the Boards of non-profits Scaling Montana and The Burton K Wheeler Center for Public Policy. He is an Advisor to several tech companies and investors. Philip earned an AB in Computer Science from Harvard, is an inventor on patents licensed by numerous name-brand firms, grew up on a ranch in Montana where he currently lives, and loves outdoor adventures and making music.
