Wordmap Intelligent Text Classifier is designed to add structure to unstructured content and improve the level of granularity on searches of content that already contains structure and metadata. You can use the tool in multiple ways:

• Map an existing taxonomy to content
• Retrospectively index (tag) content
• Help in taxonomy development and derivation
• Integrate your taxonomy with your existing search engine. It accomplishes these various goals through a number of mechanisms:
• Machine aided indexing to recommend terms to human indexers
• Auto classification based on training sets of documents
• Auto classification based on entity extraction
• A search integration framework that connects to most major search engines

The Wordmap suite also contains tools to support search integration, content management integration, taxonomy testing, taxonomy publishing and taxonomy management. This is the only end to end development, testing, integration, deployment and management set of capabilities in a taxonomy product.
