Our champion network

Our Advisory Knowledge Champion program is just one example of our success. Guided by a global Knowledge team, the network of local practice volunteer champions assumed responsibility for taking insights, knowledge tools and awareness of knowledge support to the Advisory practice. Champions support global tool and resource deployment, develop contextually appropriate awareness programs, lead content collection efforts and develop feedback channels for local practices. Working with local leadership, champions develop individualized plans to help local practitioners effectively find, use, refine and share knowledge.

In five years, the network has doubled in size to support similar practice growth. Its activities produced exponential growth in all of its goal areas: quality content submissions, awareness of knowledge services and tools, planned awareness activities and compliance with formal knowledge performance goals.

Strong leadership support, defined performance goals and customized awareness activities helped the program cultivate a robust knowledge-sharing culture. In the coming year, the network will add a specialized knowledge champion role to provide on-the ground champions with deep technical experience in critical service delivery tools to help our Advisory practitioners more quickly embrace and adopt new technologies.
