KMWorld Readers' Choice Awards 2020

The knowledge management ecosystem continues to expand with innovative new products and technologies to help customers gain meaningful insights and put them to use when and where they need them.

With the global COVID-19 pandemic, the pressure has only increased on companies to understand changing situations faster, make smarter choices, and communicate with clients more effectively. Similarly, the need for stellar KM products has only become more pressing.

The global market for knowledge management is estimated at $366.8 billion in the year 2020 and currently projected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2027, growing at a compound annual rate of 16.8% from 2020 to 2027, according to a report from Research and Markets. Knowledge management process, one of the segments analyzed, is projected to record a 20.1% compound annual growth rate and reach $523.1 billion by the end of the analysis period.

To recognize valuable products and services in the marketplace, KMWorld magazine created this special contest in which the winners are selected by the users—our readers. In all, there were 14 categories in which nominations could be made and entries voted upon.

With so many useful knowledge management products and services to consider, it can be a daunting process to identify the best solution for the job. White papers, research reports, webinars, and consultations with experts and peers are beneficial. We hope the 2020 KMWorld Readers’ Choice Awards can provide an additional resource to help in pinpointing products that offer value.

Although we are presenting the winner in each category, it is only fair that we also spotlight the two finalists since often the competition was neck-and-neck.
