For the second consecutive year, Inxight achieved record revenues for the year, with growth of more than 33 percent Y/Y in FY06.
The entire Inxight team worked diligently to deliver a truly great year. We ran a profitable operation as we continued to expand our leadership position in text analytics, bridging the gap between search and business intelligence. No one else came even close to releasing more industry-leading text extraction and categorization products, signing vital partnerships, or expanding its customer base.
Inxight signed or expanded agreements with many marquee customers, bringing the total number of global customers to 450.
We released several new products to continue our innovation lead, including:
- Inxight SmartDiscovery™ Extraction Server (SDX), the first commercially available, massively scalable solution for text analytics in more than 30 languages.
- Inxight ThingFinder® Professional SDK 4.0, boasting improved processing speed and expanded out-of-the-box entity, relation, event, and attribute detection for legal compliance, antiterrorism, and BI applications.
- Inxight Categorizer™ 5.0, a hybrid categorization engine that leverages Inxight's deep understanding of language to make classifying documents reliable and simple.
- Inxight Search Extender for Google Desktop, a free, easy-to install application that allows Google Desktop users to find information faster and locate hidden data.
Among the many partnerships forged last year, Inxight is now providing federated search and text analytics for Business Objects' Open Search Initiative, supporting IBM's UIMA initiative, as well as augmenting Google Enterprise Search and Oracle's Secure Search Initiative with clustering, information extraction, and data mining capabilities.
Inxight continues to be the leader to watch in 2007.
