Why the Digital Employee Experience Matters (Video)

Most organizations understand customer experience and a great deal of money has been poured into understanding customers, and what they want. But, finally, organizations are now realizing that it is not possible to deliver great customer service without having great employee experience as well, said Step Two principal consultant Rebecca Rodgers in her KMWorld 2018 presentation on the importance of the digital employee experience (DEX).

The DEX sums up the totality of digital interactions between staff and their organization, said Rodgers, who explained that a great successful workplace consists of a holistic set of tools, platforms, and environments for work.

Speaking to the KMWorld audience, Rodgers said, “You are the people who will be driving change over the coming years. And I'm looking forward to seeing what you're going to do to improve the Digital Employee Experience in small or big ways. Don't make your employees wait. Dream big but deliver often.”
