Global technical content made easier: SDL expands Global Authoring Management System
SDL has released SDL Global Authoring Management System 2010 SP2, which is said to optimize technical content for search and localization to provide a better customer experience.
SDL highlights the following new features and enhancements:
- AutoSuggest released for PTC Arbortext Editor and Just Systems XMetaL—The predictive text technology helps prevent inconsistent technical information from being published.
- Integrations with the latest SDL language technologies—The integrations help to ensure global terminology is consistent, and that content is reused and created with translation in mind.
- Support for PTC Arbortext Editor 6.0—SDL Global Authoring Management System updates its integration with PTC Arbortext Editor for Version 6.0.
- Support for German linguistic analysis—The new version expands the linguistic capabilities for organizations that write or translate content in German.
