Thales Group will enhance and unify the digital work environment of its employees through the use of intelligent search and analytics technology.

The multinational electrical systems provider for the aerospace and defense industries is implementing Sinequa’s Cognitive Search & Analytics platform. The solution will support Thales Group in processing and analyzing structured and unstructured content, which includes tens of millions of documents and records.

Eric Cohen, chief enterprise architect at Thales, says, “Sinequa’s platform will foster and stimulate knowledge sharing between Thales employees operating in a geographically dispersed environment, while respecting the Group’s strict data security and confidentiality rules.”

According to Thales Group, digital innovation is an integral part of its DNA. For over three years, it has invested more than 1 billion euros in its four key digital technologies: connectivity and IoT, big data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Thales’ teams collect and generate huge amounts of data. In the context of today’s highly competitive digital transformation movement, Sinequa provides a foundation for optimizing team decision-making based on information rather than opinions, it reports.
