Collaborating on affordable housing
The Fannie Mae Foundation is using collaboration software from Vignette to enhance its relationships with grantees, policymakers and partners.
The large, non-profit foundation, which creates affordable housing opportunities, wanted a user-friendly solution that would integrate with existing investments to promote knowledge-sharing across the organization. Through the new technology, the foundation is better able to harness collaborative efforts already taking place via e-mail exchanges and is launching new collaboration projects linked to specific business activities, according to a recent press release from Vignette.
Vignette V7 Collaboration Services support online and offline communications among co-workers and partners, customers and prospects. Features include project delivery, account management notifications, full contextual search, expert identification, account team coordination and contact management.
"Vignette collaboration solutions give the Fannie Mae Foundation the tools it needs to successfully engage in discussions and share research and best practices related to community development," says Chuck Neal, senior VP of worldwide sales at Vignette.
