Zulahoo selects cloud-based solution

Zulahoo, an Internet community commerce portal, has chosen ViaWest to provide on-demand cloud computing services.

After considering a number of vendors, Zulahoo chose ViaWest’s KINECTed Cloud platform, and has moved from a physical infrastructure to a virtual environment, reducing its hosting costs. ViaWest says its monitoring platform enables Zulahoo to manage growth by tracking usability and determining when more on-demand resources should be added.

ViaWest says its KINECTed Cloud offers a dynamic pool of computing, storage and networking resources without ongoing personnel or capital expenses. It provides two platforms, a Xen-based hypervisor cloud or VMware-based platform.
