FileCloud Adds GDPR Support Across AWS and Microsoft Azure

With GDPR regulations set to be imposed on May 25, 2018, FileCloud's new capabilities allow large organizations with an international presence to choose where to host their data.

Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure offer data centers in multiple regions across the globe, and, with FileCloud running on AWS or Azure, enterprises can control and be aware of where the data is stored and processed, aiding in their GDPR compliance efforts.

Global organizations operate across multiple geographic regions and deal with data from EU data subjects. Not complying with GDPR can lead to hefty penalties, up to 4% of a company’s revenue.
