NightOwl Discovery and Exterro Join Forces to Improve E-Discovery

NightOwl has joined the Exterro Orchestrated E-Discovery Partner program and has added internal certified experts who will focus on the Exterro Orchestrated E-Discovery Suite. Exterro is a provider of software for in-house legal and IT teams at Global 2000 and AmLaw 200 organizations, and NightOwl Discovery offers corporate discovery management programs.

According to the vendors, the combination of Exterro software and NightOwl Discovery’s expertise will address a major shortcoming in the traditional approach to managing the e-discovery process. In the current model, they contend, multiple stakeholders, including in-house legal and IT, service providers and outside counsel, often use multiple tools requiring manual handoffs with limited visibility into the current status of tasks and activities. As a result, it often takes too long to get to the facts of the case.

Clients using Exterro can now leverage specialized programs from NightOwl Discovery to manage and control discovery projects, while taking advantage of sophisticated workflows and customizable reporting mechanisms.
