Ricoh Updates Cloud-Based E-Discovery Solution
Ricoh USA has unveiled updates to its secure cloud-based e-discovery solution, RICOH eDiscovery On Demand.
New analysis and review functions allow users to interact with and filter electronically stored information (ESI) before they review or go into production, helping ensure efficiency.
Building on RICOH eDiscovery On Demand's self-service approach to e-discovery, users can now cull their datasets by filtering by keywords, date, file type and duplications, which in turn will help to drive faster turnaround times and cost efficiencies.
Tight discovery deadlines coupled with growing volumes of data, can make the e-discovery process complex, said David Greetham, vice president of eDiscovery Sales and Operations, Ricoh USA. Helping alleviate these pressures, RICOH eDiscovery On Demand supports efficient e-discovery processing, culling, review, and production and does so without the infrastructure costs typically associated with a specialized environment, he noted.
As a web-based solution leveraging the Microsoft Azure Cloud, RICOH eDiscovery On Demand is available 24x7, enabling users secured access to its features anywhere, anytime. This includes access to visual dashboards and in-depth status summaries on data being processed. Push notifications can also help to keep users updated as projects move through the e-discovery process, so they stay informed, even when not actively monitoring.
