Tangoe Launches New Product Strategy, Looks to Machine Learning and AI
Tangoe, a technology expense management company, is launching a new product strategy focused on automation, innovation, and transformation.
Businesses today must confront rising technology costs, inaccurate forecasting, troubles allocating expenses, and poor visibility into how their assets are used, said Bob Irwin, Tagoe CEO. This new product strategy changes the way customers think about technology expense management, Irwin explained.
Designed to enable Tangoe customers to effectively and efficiently optimize all their technology expenses and manage technology assets, Tangoe’s new product strategy has three pillars:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning
- Tangoe Atlas, Tangoe Rivermine, and Tangoe Asentinel
- Tangoe Atlas Platform
Through the applied use of robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, Tangoe is raising the bar for technology expense optimization and technology asset management.
Intelligent automation extends to every aspect of the Tangoe Atlas Platform and their managed services including touch-free processing of invoices, integration, reporting and analytics, and optimization.
Tangoe Atlas is an enterprise-grade technology solution on which clients can manage all technology needs, including enterprise mobility and technology expense management, within a single, unified platform.
Tangoe Atlas is joined by Tangoe Rivermine, a highly-configurable platform for global customers with complex technology environments; and Tangoe Asentinel, a highly-automated platform for customers looking for an easy to use, out-of-the-box solution for technology expense management.
All Tangoe customers, including those using the Billing IT (BIT), Command, and Expense Management System platforms, are invited to migrate to Tangoe Atlas, Tangoe Rivermine, or Tangoe Asentinel.
The Tangoe Atlas Platform is built on a foundation of shared services and capabilities that are consistent across the Tangoe Atlas, Tangoe Rivermine and Tangoe Asentinel solutions.
These standard capabilities include APIs and interfaces to a global ecosystem of carriers, vendors and partners, reporting data and analytics and managed services. Tangoe will continue to focus on driving standardization and will highlight this with the upcoming Tangoe Atlas Platform Portal.
This will include rich dashboards and reporting, an end user portal, and access to the most common tasks that users, executives and administrators need to operate, delivered through a simple, intuitive user interface.
Looking toward the future, Tangoe’s unrivaled expertise and technology capabilities in global expense management and optimization are evolving beyond its roots in telecom and mobile devices. The Tangoe Atlas platform can natively support any technology asset, including the discovery, cost control and optimization of SaaS licenses, and PaaS/IaaS cloud services.
