Native SharePoint Webinars from RAMP

RAMP has partnered with Wowza Media Systems to launch RAMP Video Live solution, which is said to be the first enterprise-class, self-service, live Webcasting solution native to Microsoft SharePoint.

RAMP highlights the following Video Live capabilities:

• self-service—hosting a RAMP Video Live event only requires SharePoint access, a Web cam and, if desired, a PowerPoint presentation for synchronized slides;
• integration with SharePoint—Video Live leverages SharePoint’s native security and native collaboration features like Active Directory, SharePoint Groups and Yammer; and
• enterprise-glass—RAMP Video Live was built for enterprises with integration into existing systems of record and the reliability and scalability large Global 2000 businesses need to broadcast their events.

RAMP adds that because Video Live is native to a company’s intranet infrastructure, authentication is seamless and “flash crowd” log-ins are handled by the same system that already handles employee traffic bursts at the start of every work day. RAMP Video Live also offers a simple, affordable subscription-based pricing model to customers.
