NICE to Acquire Nexidia for $135 Million

NICE Systems, a provider of enterprise software solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire customer analytics vendor Nexidia. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies said, NICE will acquire Nexidia for a total cash consideration of approximately $135 million. Subject to certain conditions and satisfaction of terms, the transaction is scheduled to close during the first quarter of 2016.

According to the companies, the new combined offering will allow organizations to expand their analytics usage. The joint offering will enable organizations to use analytics and operationalize the results faster, and features multiple out-of-the-box business applications for critical use cases, such as analytics business intelligence for churn reduction, campaign effectiveness and sales optimization; compliance solutions for complaint management, e-discovery and compliance adherence; and operational efficiency solutions for advanced quality optimization.

The acquisition will expand NICE's role as a provider of cross-channel customer interaction analytics, as well as give it an expanded customer base and market reach. Nexidia provides customer interaction analytics solutions with patented technologies and advanced applications that enable companies to drive business transformation by capturing, making sense of, and using the full range of omni-channel communication they have with their customers.
