Attivio Expands Collaboration with PerkinElmer in the Life Sciences Industry

Attivio has expanded its strategic relationship with PerkinElmer, making PerkinElmer the exclusive reseller of Attivio solutions in the life sciences markets worldwide. PerkinElmer also recently unveiled a new solution within its data discovery platform called PerkinElmer Signals Perspectives.

In the life sciences industry, the ability to leverage a complete view of clinical trial information, databases, lab materials, and third-party content is central to scientific excellence. The new solution aims to help solve what the companies see as a major challenge for researchers in the life sciences space - the time it takes to find and understand relationships between data and information from disparate sources.

According to the companies, the PerkinElmer Signals Perspectives solution provides scientists with a comprehensive view of information for research.  Powered by the Attivio platform, the the solution profiles data across silos, identifies the right information for analysis, and unifies disparate sources into a data model to provision to TIBCO Spotfire software. This software investigates and analyzes the data, generating interactive displays to support collaboration and decision making.
