Proofpoint Enterprise Archive 4.0 Reduces Time and Cost
Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, has launched an extensive software enhancement to its cloud-based Proofpoint Enterprise Archive solution to simplify e-discovery and improve defensibility.
Key new enhancements include new e-discovery and analytics visualizations; an updated user interface to simplify workflow and use for administrators; improved legal hold processing; and mobile support for iOS and Android devices.
The new enterprise archive lets customers use the e-discovery module in-house to complement Microsoft Office 365 and conduct early case assessment on their native archive, reducing the time and costs associated with e-discovery cases, said Darren Lee, senior vice president and general manager of Information Archiving and Governance for Proofpoint. In addition, enhanced mobile support and new visualizations will aid compliance teams in addressing inquiries faster.
Proofpoint Enterprise Archive 4.0 is an automated solution that identifies, collects, preserves, and manages electronically stored information (ESI) and data. It works across a broad number of digital information sources, including email, enterprise collaboration data, and social media data.
With an architecture built to leverage the cloud, keep control of data, and easily migrate data to the cloud, Proofpoint also says its solution is less costly to operate than legacy archiving tools.
