Another important aspect of creating a collaborative culture around knowledge management is putting employees at the forefront of the business.
If employees are the heart of the business, the people at the top need to understand the issues facing their workers in the field, said Rebecca Rodgers, principal consultant, Step Two, in one of her three KMWorld presentations.
This means companies should not be afraid of utilizing an intranet that can connect all employees to communication tools and important documents within the enterprise, said Rodgers. “A great digital workplace consists of a holistic set of tools, platforms, and environments for work,” Rodgers said. “You are at the forefront of emerging digital experiences,”
