Onymos’ Payments Feature further streamlines application development and management

Onymos, the developers behind the Features-as-a-Service (FaaS) platform, is launching its newest Payments Feature to mitigate the obstacles commonly faced when integrating payment functionality within applications.

The FaaS platform aids in accelerating application development and design, accompanied with a suite of over 20 app features that can be integrated with new or existing applications; this latest addition targets payment integration speed, cost reduction in its implementation, security and compliance, and resource reduction of payment gateway maintenance.

“While payment functionality can be found in nearly every application today—from e-commerce to streaming—it is one of the most complicated and costly features for enterprises to integrate. It requires considerable time from engineering teams, as well as legal, security, and compliance experts during development and integration,” said Shiva Nathan, founder and CEO of Onymos. “As part of our platform, the Payments Feature has been pre-developed to simplify all development, integration, and maintenance processes for enterprises. This includes security and compliance, basic ongoing maintenance, updates from payment, OS, hardware, and cloud providers, and more.”

The Payments Feature includes several capabilities that improve payment integration with applications, ultimately enhancing  the end-user experience. Multiple forms of payments, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, debit/credit cards, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers, are supported by Onymos. The service also offers one-time and recurring subscription payment options, as well as optimized refund processes. Onymos’ security, which maintains industry-leading practices through pre-developed and continuously updated enterprise-grade security measures, ensures that its implementation is as safe as it is efficient. Additionally, the Payments Feature aids in meeting the guidelines of the Payment Card Industry (PCI), Data Security Standard (DSS), and Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE).

Onymos soothes the application development and design process so that developers can focus their talent on areas of the enterprise where it can empower success, as opposed to wasting time on lengthy, manually intensive application feature creation and management, according to the company.

Nathan continued, “We here at Onymos are telling you there’s a better way—a revolutionary way—that you can develop applications. You don’t need to focus on or worry about building and maintaining basic features, you can drive business value elsewhere.”
