CalypsoAI, the leader in AI security, is announcing a suite of new capabilities that empower enterprises to tailor their generative AI (GenAI) security to their unique needs. Furthering its mission to secure GenAI across the enterprise, CalypsoAI’s latest updates transcend legacy security techniques that lack the nuance to effectively combat the continuously evolving AI threat landscape.

The GenAI movement has raised valid concerns on how to securely adopt and deploy these technologies, where traditional security tools are ill-equipped to address these issues. Citing research from CalypsoAI and the Everest Group, the study revealed that 55% of survey respondents pointed to data security and privacy as the main challenge to GenAI adoption, according to the company.

Part of this increasing concern for GenAI security is due to the ways that use cases across different industries, departments, and companies vary; GenAI security solutions must not only be effective but also uniquely adaptive and customizable.

To combat these challenges, CalypsoAI is debuting a series of advanced tools to secure, audit, and monitor both internal and external GenAI usage across all models, vendors, and modes, according to the company. These new tools build off of CalypsoAI’s previously introduced customizable GenAI Scanners, which enable enterprises to construct their own AI-based scanners with their natural language.

CalypsoAI is unveiling the following advanced GenAI security technologies:

  • Out-of-the-box scanners designed to accommodate specific use cases and verticals, including personally identifiable information (PII) and source code vulnerability
  • Dynamic, real-time threat updates within the CalypsoAI platform that is backed by an advanced model that rapidly adapts to new threats, enabling enterprises to react in real time to evolving risks, including zero-day attacks
  • New model partners and integrations with IBM watsonx that merges IBM’s AI models with Calypso’s advanced threat detection to deliver comprehensive defense against modern cyber threats
  • New Calypso AI security community that allows users to share successful, custom-built scanners with others, bolstering knowledge sharing and increasing visibility of GenAI security best practices

“The threat landscape when it comes to AI is evolving so quickly, we realized we needed to fight fire with fire—which is exactly where our customizable scanner technology comes in,” said Jimmy White, CTO of CalypsoAI. “At CalypsoAI we want to empower your business to proactively evolve and respond to threats before they even emerge, ensuring instantaneous, comprehensive protection and resilience. The only way to do that is to fully embrace generative AI as a key pillar and core differentiator to our platform—and the latest features ensure that we’re not only doing that at scale but giving users the ability to share those protections and learn from each other.”
