Onymos DocKnow delivers rapid, precise document processing with customizable LLM API

Onymos, developer of solutions transforming Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for software and application development, is debuting a new version of DocKnow, Onymos’ intelligent document processing component. This latest iteration of DocKnow features the ability to integrate customers’ unique large language models (LLMs), empowering organizations to extract, process, and validate data from documents with speed and precision, according to Onymos.

Onymos’ DocKnow solution eliminates the need for manual, time-intensive, and error-prone data entry with enhanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology, an intuitive API, and a fully customizable—and optional—UI. DocKnow extracts information from both structured and unstructured data, including printed and handwritten text, numbers, dates, barcodes, and more. Regarding interoperability, DocKnow easily integrates with any third-party, back-end information management system, including Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and Google.

The latest enhancements to DocKnow address customer’s needs for accurate, fast document processing, while adhering to Onymos’ no-data architecture—which dictates that all data passed through the solution and used to train the LLM remains securely within the enterprise. These new features include:

  • Customer-specific LLM API: With the new API, enterprises can train their own LLMs with their unique data for more accurate, domain-specific document processing.
  • AI assistant: Onymos’ new AI agent, “Doc,” empowers document processing teams to more easily search through specific documents and high-volume content for particular information.
  • Upgraded, customizable UI: Enabling organizations to fully customize their UI to match their branding, required functionality, and back-end systems, the new UI also features bounding boxes, automatic zoom-in/zoom-out, image enhancement, and skew correction to improve readability.

"We understand that many enterprises struggle with time-consuming and error-prone processes like document entry, validation, and retrieval, whether it's for patient care, student registration, or case file review. While these enterprises have started integrating AI tools powered by LLMs like ChatGPT to help with these activities, they often encounter hallucinations and outdated training data issues," shared Shiva Nathan, founder and CEO of Onymos. "Our enhanced DocKnow addresses these challenges by streamlining document processing and empowering enterprises to train their own LLM models tailored to their specific needs, all while ensuring privacy and security."
