FullyRamped’s AI role-play platform seamlessly up-skills sales reps

FullyRamped, the AI role-play platform for sales teams, is announcing that it has raised $2.3 million in pre-seed funding led by BoxGroup, MaC Venture Capital, and NOMO Ventures with participation from Greylock and Sequoia. With this funding, FullyRamped will enhance its sales upskill AI technology, as well as expand its team and accelerate its go-to-market strategy.

FullyRamped’s platform is designed for sales representatives and their managers to enhance their sales skills with AI-powered “Practice Prospects”—or custom personas that mimic sales calls. These Practice Prospects employ real-time voice AI to offer sales reps the opportunity to practice their pitch and objection handling through natural, minimal latency conversations.

Central to FullyRamped’s AI technology is the idea of seamlessly and efficiently enhancing human sales reps—not replacing them.

"Our goal is to help companies develop their human capital," said Aaron Marks, CEO and founder of FullyRamped. "We believe that AI is a tool that will be used by humans, not replace them. People still prefer talking to people, especially in high-stakes B2B sales conversations.”

By offering a controlled, safe environment for sales reps to practice their skills through AI, enterprises save on and improve the usage of team resources without having to jeopardize real leads. This AI-powered training reduces the number of potential leads lost, shortens onboarding, and increases conversation-to-meeting-booked ratios, according to FullyRamped.

"When you build software, you would never test in production," Marks explained. "So, why don’t we give everyone with a ‘people-job’ a staging environment too?"
