FileData Classifier
ABREVITY's FileData Classifier (FDC) is a powerful but affordable data classification solution focused on helping solve the data management problems in today's enterprise. FDC can discover all the data on desktops, servers, and network storage devices then create rich metadata attributes that become searchable. FDC allows users to create custom automated policies that include tagging, extraction of keywords & patterns (such as Account Numbers, SSN's, DL Numbers, etc), create custom reports, or even automatically move, copy, backup or archive files and emails. Since FDC is a software only solution, an unlimited number of FDC's can reside in the data center or remote locations allowing the management of up to Petabytes of data.
FileData Manager ABREVITY's
FileData Manager (FDM) is an enterprise class solution that aggregates and manages policy across multiple FDC consoles. FDM gives the administrator a single federated view of all the data distributed across the enterprise allowing FDM can then push policy down to individual FDC's such as tag management, retention policies, user access, event scheduling and report generation.
