Attracting and tracking talent

Precision Resource, a nationwide staffing service firm, has implemented new enterprise recruiting software to track applicants and to better understand hiring practices enterprisewide. The firm, which specializes in staffing for the engineering, construction and maintenance industries, has selected Kenexa's software-as-a-service applicant tracking system.

Jeff Roach, director of field leadership/nuclear recruiting for Precision Resources, explains, "We were looking for a solution that would offer not only the traditional candidate tracking functionality of a standard applicant tracking system, but that also would allow our recruiters to mine candidates, create hot lists and separate information into the specific categories that are the primary drivers to our database. With the new system, we can do all of that, plus segment our database by client, allowing our recruiters to use information unique to each of our clients, while still enjoying global oversight of the entire process."

Kenexa maintains that its applicant tracking system helps companies turn their Web sites into interactive career centers to identify the most talented candidates, while reducing cost and time per hire. It adds that its Web-based technology provides organizations with everything they need to locate and track candidates as they move through the hiring process.

Kenexa CEO Rudy Karsan, says, "With an integrated and standardized database of candidate information, companies can make better decisions on how to keep attracting the very best talent in the industry."
