DLT and Eucalyptus partner for government cloud

DLT Solutions and Eucalyptus Systems have formed a strategic alliance that they report will allow government agencies to quickly deploy private and hybrid clouds with their existing IT infrastructure. DLT Solutions is a value-added reseller of government software and IT services.

Eucalyptus’ enterprise-scale, open source, infrastructure as a service (IaaS) cloud platform uses existing infrastructure to create a scalable, secure Web services layer that abstracts computerr, network and storage to offer IaaS. By employing virtualization software, Eucalyptus creates elastic pools that can be scaled up or down depending on application workloads. Eucalyptus Web services are designed for hybrid clouds using the Amazon Web Services API.
