K2 unveils Appit for SharePoint

K2 has released K2 Appit, delivering no-code workflow apps for SharePoint Server 2013 and Microsoft Online. K2 says with the launch of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online, Microsoft introduced a new Office app model allowing solution developers to deploy SharePoint-based Web apps that function natively within SharePoint, on-premise or in the cloud.

K2 says Appit allows users to:

• deliver workflow apps using no-code designers, quickly and easily from within SharePoint;
• add intuitive forms and data from line-of-business systems to deliver more full-featured apps;
• work with a SaaS-based offering, meaning that you can get started quickly and easily; and
• create mobile apps that ensure you have the ability to take action, anywhere and anytime.
