Before starting Bruce Silver Associates in 1994, Dr Silver directed workflow and document systems research at BIS Strategic Decisions (now Giga Information Group). He is a regular columnist for KMWorld, author of the Guide to Workflow Software, and on the board of directors of Input Software. In the 1980s, he was a principal developer of Wang's WIIS document imaging system. He holds Physics degrees from Princeton and MIT, and four patents in electronic imaging.
